I’m back on Canadian soil after quite an adventure.
I’m so thankful that this career has taken me places that have shaped my appreciation for history, culture and most importantly have introduced me to some of the nicest and friendliest people.
As I reflect on Ireland some of the highlights definitely were:
- Castle stay in Lough Eske, Donegal
- Exploring Derry: walls, peace bridge run, Halloween
- Finding a new love of Guinness
- Reporting along Wild Atlantic Way
I finished our vlog over the weekend ! Have a look at some behind the scenes shots as we toured Ireland and created content for TV.
Was also a treat to share our photos from Ireland on The Weather Network’s morning show today. I love my job!

Really enjoyed seeing the little snippets from Ireland, especially the Halloween stuff and that crazy bread or cake with treats (e.g. money, jewerly) baked into it. Enjoy your coverage every morning — a great start to my day. I love the Weather Network 🙂
Hi Colleen ! So glad you enjoyed our reports from Ireland. It was such a memorable experience for me. We have 3 new features from Ireland that will be on our channel soon! Look out for them 🙂 thanks so much for your comments. Have a lovely weekend – Rachel
Hi Rachel. Love your pictures of Ireland. I was wondering if you could tell me where you got that beautiful grey coat that you were wearing. Thanks.
Hi Sharon ! It’s from the Bay Calvin Klein, this season 🙂
