A winter full of memories ! That’s how the 2019/2020 season is going down in my household.
When I first started dating my husband Daniel, 8 years ago, he told me to get serious about skiing. He said the adventures we can create in the snow will be some of our best memories. Well, he certainly was right !
I’ve been dedicating time this season to become a more confident skier. And just as this season is winding down I wanted to head outside of Ontario for a new challenge.
Skiing in Quebec !
I was introduced to an area in the Eastern Townships called Bromont. The Canadian Ski Council recommenced this spot due to its amazing runs, 8 chair lifts, restaurant at the summit and new gondola.
We were impressed with the landscape and thought the design of the entire area was really cozy. It’s a wonderful place to explore for a weekend of skiing.
Planning a getaway that is active is always my go to. I think that’s why I love skiing so much. It’s the perfect blend of travel and exercise.
And after all the exercise that “apres ski” feels even more rewarding !
I’m so glad we had a chance to check out Bromont ! We stayed at Chateau Bromont which is about a 2 minute drive from the base of the main chairlift. They have shuttles until 10 PM everyday, so that was very convenient !
I still feel like I need another month of winter because I’m not ready to give up these little ski vacations just yet !
